To qualify, you must:
Age and Background: Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a background check.
Transportation: Possess a valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
Insurance and Licensing: Maintain all legally required insurances and be registered or licensed as a professional process server in jurisdictions that require it.
Application Process
To apply, visit the One Legal Contractor Application page:
Select your state from the drop-down menu.
Complete the application form. including any necessary uploads.
Post-Application Steps
After submitting your application, our team will review your credentials to ensure a fit with our current needs and geographic coverage:
If accepted, you may be added to a waiting list if we have a high volume of contractors in your area.
You will receive a notification to submit additional documentation such as a valid photo ID and any applicable licenses or registrations.
Contract and Setup
Upon approval:
Review and sign the Independent Contractor Agreement provided by One Legal.
Set up your ServeManager account, including a ServeManager wallet for receiving payments, which may require submitting official business documentation to our third-party financial vendor for verification.
Completion Timeframe
The entire process from application to full setup typically takes between 7-10 days, depending on the prompt submission of required documents and the current contractor demand in your area.
