The Diligence Checklist has been added to each eligible service of process job in ServeManager to help keep track of your attempts toward diligence. Each job's Diligence Review Guidelines or Diligence Checklist act as a quick, convenient way to keep track of your earlier attempts and indicate what your current/future attempts need to accomplish to achieve diligence should the job end in Non-Service status.
Obviously, this checklist won't be as relevant for a successful serve or sub-serve or even a bad address job, but for your other jobs (and even the early stages of the previously-stated list of jobs), this should prove to be very helpful in guiding your attempt scheduling.
The Diligence Checklist is currently only for the desktop version of ServeManager. The mobile app version is being finished and will be available hopefully by the end of 2025.
Weekend attempts are still required for most residential and some business diligence. If the checklist does not indicate such, please know that a weekend attempt will still be necessary for diligence.
In jurisdictions where special diligence rules apply (e.g., Alameda, Contra Costa, San Diego), please use your professional judgment to meet those standards as they take precedence - and put a Note on the job to ensure our staff understands your decisions.
